Who can participate?
We are inviting all lawyers to participate in this nationwide research project by 15 April 2022. The research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of how lawyers are impacted by work-related distress and indirect/vicarious trauma in New Zealand.
This research will be especially relevant to lawyers who work with distresssing or traumatic cases and/or clients.
What is involved?
This research involves:
- A short anonymous survey; and
- The option to also participate in a follow up interview.
The survey
The anonymous survey will take 15 - 20 minutes to complete. You can partcipate at any time before 15 April 2022.

The interview
Interview sign up is open until 15 April 2022. Interviews will continue after this date.
Interviews will be conducted via zoom at a time that is convenient for you (work hours, after hours and weekend times are available). Interviews will commence from 21 February 2022.
